He took us on a great fishing trip and we got to eat the fish we caught for lunch, cooked in multiple ways, prepared in the resort kitchen. Paleng also organised a few day trips by car with Kumis - Amalapura, Lovina beach, hot springs and White Sands beach. Both trips were excellent and reasonably priced."

"In June 2014, I met Paleng for the first time, when a small group of us were staying in Candidasa. He took us out on a successful mahi mahi fishing expedition early one morning and then later in the holiday arranged everything for myself and a friend to climb Mt Agung. The transport at 1 am was provided by his friend Kumis and the guide organised was great. Kumis even had boiled eggs and hot coffee waiting for us when we crawled back to the carpark, 8 hours later. Both Paleng and Kumis are really pleasant decent guys who are keeping their culture alive and welcoming others to experience it".
